Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Lead Terraform Engineer specializing in Terraform to enhance their IT infrastructure and operations team. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure as code while collaborating with development and operations teams to improve system reliability.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize infrastructure code using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Design and implement automation scripts and processes for provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure and applications.
• Work closely with software development and operations teams to understand their requirements and ensure seamless integration of infrastructure changes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployments and releases.
• Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues.
• Ensure the security of infrastructure by implementing best practices and staying updated on security vulnerabilities and threats.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and ensure high availability of systems.
• Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations and processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• + years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with a strong emphasis on Terraform.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Azure will be preferred.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred:
