Job Title: Payments Terminal (Ingenico) Developer
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Payments Terminal (Ingenico) Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing payment terminal solutions, specifically leveraging Ingenico and Bluefin platforms and associated technologies. This role involves configuring the PDC to connect with terminals and test card present transactions with various configurations (Same Lan, Different Lan segments, Wifi and Lan )
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Development and Customization:
    • Design and develop software solutions for Ingenico payment terminals using appropriate SDKs and APIs.
    • Customize and integrate payment terminal applications to meet client-specific requirements.
    • Configure PCD to work with the terminals
    • Configure DHCP Server / DNS Server connection where IP address is dynamically allocated
    • Configure the PCD:Terminal to make it N:M where a set of PCD can share a set of Terminals for transactions including dynamic reset, handshake with the Terminals.
    • Configure monitoring solutions to check the health of Terminals while managing then remotely from a console
    • Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards, including EMV, PCI-DSS, and contactless payment protocols.
    • Support Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover card families
  2. Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct thorough testing of terminal applications, ensuring approval of transactions are done for all the networks.
    • Debug and resolve any software issues identified during development or reported by clients.
    • Collaborate with QA teams to verify compliance with payment security standards.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong experience with Ingenico terminal development, including knowledge of the Ingenico SDK and associated APIs.
    • Adequate knowledge in Bluefin Payment Solutions
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Java, particularly as applied to embedded systems.
    • Experience with payment gateway integration and transaction processing.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with EMV, contactless (NFC) payment technology, and mobile payment solutions.
    • Solid understanding of payment industry standards, including PCI-DSS compliance.
  • Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:
    • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop solutions to improve application performance and security.
