POSITION SUMMARY

Primarily responsible for processing member transactions and providing a variety of member services in an accurate, efficient, and courteous manner. Additionally responsible for promoting credit union products and services and maintaining proper control of assigned cash, correspondence, transactions, and credit union documents. Provide assistance and support to Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in branch deposit, lending, and security operations. Responsible for providing leadership, technical guidance, and training to Member Service Associate staff members.


QUALIFICATIONS

Requires a friendly, well-organized person who can portray a professional image regarding performance, appearance and attitude toward members, co-workers, and management staff. Must be able to balance consistently and keep proper control over cash drawer at all times. Ability to prepare and complete transaction and loan documentation and perform mathematical computation is required. Must have basic computer knowledge and the ability to learn credit union transaction processing systems.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to view a terminal screen and operate a computer keyboard. This individual must be able to count accurately and quickly. Ability to complete transactions, documentation and perform mathematical computation is required.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide assistance and support to Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager as needed
  • Conduct loan interviews and process loan applications and documentation
  • Provide leadership, technical guidance, and training to Member Service Associate staff members
  • Execute member transactions and provide general information in an accurate, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Actively promote credit union products and services
  • Maintain proper control of assigned cash, corresponding transactions, and credit union documents
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area
  • Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions
  • Additional duties as assigned
