Purpose and Scope:
Temporary position not-to-exceed (NTE) 30 October 2026
The Production Manager manages and provides technical guidance and direction pertaining to the coordination of all aspects of the Distribution Center's operational production divisions.
Essential Responsibilities:
Direct distribution center performance planning in support of current and future operations. Oversee systems management to ensure distribution center systems are operational and functional. Manage the divisions in execution of stock positioning and storage of material. Oversee the execution of traffic management to ensure operational production divisions are provided timely and efficient support. Oversee the analytics of daily workload management and staffing impacts to ensure the distribution center meets its KPIs. Manage the planning and implementation of site-specific missions. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Experience shall include a minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations and performing statistical analysis on operations like the size and complexity to the operations offered in this contract. Experience will include a minimum of 2 years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past 5 years. Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience and a valid driver's license. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment. As appropriate, each employee is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks, and serving on safety committees and teams.
