Overview
Monday through Thursday 6:30am to 5:00pm (Three-day weekends) OR
Monday through Thursday 5:00pm to 3:00am
Must be willing to work night shift
Responsibilities
Operate CNC burning machines (plasma, oxyfuel torches), presses, saws, rolls, and other steel fabrication equipment in accordance with safety standards and established procedures.
Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other machinery to load and unload burning machines.
Read drawings and specifications for dimensions, tolerances, specifications, and other information.
Use measuring tools like tape measures and angle gauges to verify compliance of cut products.
Complete preventative and routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines.
Communicate with coworkers and others in a courteous and professional manner
Local Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently throughout the work day and up to 50 lbs. infrequently.
Must be able to stand 100% of the day
Qualifications
No CNC experience required. Candidate will be trained to the machinery.
High School Diploma or GED
Strong practical math skills preferred
Experience in skilled trades or working with machinery preferred
Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Skills and Behaviors
