ICMS is seeking full-time Assistant Project Managers in the Dallas Region. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 year’s experience in aviation construction management and oversite.  Previous experience in terminal and concourse construction is a plus.  The ideal candidate possesses experience in project management, documentation, as well as experience working with the contractor to verify that construction is in general conformance with plans and specifications. Candidate must be able to work independently on assignments and establish work plan and priorities to meet project schedules. The job description is below as follows:
Assistant Project Manager

Inspects and documents individual activities performed by the contractor in order to monitor compliance with specifications, plans, and other contract provisions. Works closely with experienced field engineers on various field projects in order to develop field experience in techniques, approaches, and procedures and the nature of engineering systems, equipment, etc.  Job responsibilities will include:
 
·         Inspect all construction sites to ensure appropriate quality control on all processes and coordinate with various team to gather all permits for projects.
·         Contracting and CO Unifier process. Weekly PSR reporting.
·         Manage multiple construction phases at one given time and prepare construction progress reports for all projects on everyday basis, as well as, manage all communication with contractors and Construction Managers.
·         Assist CM and APM in preparing weekly project cost logs and schedule tracking reports.
·         Assist APM in presentation development, PMM follow-up, CAP council preparation & documentation.
·         Perform Bid Take-offs as needed to confirm quantities.
·         Collaborate with Construction Manager and APM in resolving all queries for construction progress and ensure compliance to all safety procedures at site.
·         Coordinate with material and supply chain management personnel to bid all proposals and evaluate contract work and design all AFE for various projects.
·         Identify all pipeline and access road locations according to various specifications and engineering drawings and ensure compliance with all federal and state laws for various activities.
·         Prepare various documents for all implementation of activities and ensure approval for same and assist to distribute all final documents.
·         Participate in various project meetings and maintain records of all construction dates and project costs.
