At Mygrant Glass, we’re looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to support daily branch operations and help drive performance, profitability, and team development. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Branch Manager to lead employees, reinforce company standards, and ensure the branch operates efficiently, safely, and with a strong customer focus.

As an Assistant Warehouse Manager, you’ll play a key role in achieving branch goals, developing employees, supporting sales initiatives, and maintaining operational excellence. Assistant Branch Manager (Assistant Warehouse Manager)


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Branch Manager will be responsible for assisting the Branch Manager with managing employees and activities at the branch. Be responsible for properly maintaining a high value inventory and providing and maintaining excellent customer service. Be responsible to accurately schedule employees and shifts with safety, productivity, and customer service in mind.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Accurately present the “Mygrant message” to customers and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with and training on all company policies including state and federal regulations.
  • Meet current branch goals, annual branch budget and profitably grow respective branch.
  • Participate in developing business plans for branch operations.
  • Participate in defining branch goals. Communicate goals throughout the branch.
  • Monitor and maintain branch performance goals/standards.
  • Coach all branch employees to success to ensure referral and branch sales goals. Oversee and monitor branch sales.
  • Plan effective branch succession and efficient branch operation. Promote growth/development of branch employees.
  • Assist with recruiting and training staff at the branch.
  • Oversee the overall security of branch and branch employees.
  • Coordinate branch activities to ensure smooth operation of branch.
  • Manage the branch teller staff.
  • Participate and develop branch sales promotions.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven leadership, team building, and communication skills
  • Live and work with a very high level of integrity
  • Ability to cultivate a culture of teamwork, customer focus, and respect
  • Keen eye for detail and safety
  • Numerous years of experience with inventory control, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting
  • Direct involvement in developing customer service experiences and exceeding expectations
  • High level of experience with Microsoft products
  • Proven track record of a minimum of two (?)years in management of at least ten (?) employees including recruiting, hiring, and developing top talent
  • Experience with both fleet and MHE safety and maintenance
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes; Ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and making fine discriminations in sound; Exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects;. Must be able to remain in a stationary position and/or upright, for prolonged periods of time, traverse stairs, maneuver in tight spaces, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch extended periods of time during 8-10-hour work shift.


BASE PAY:

The listed range is what we reasonably expect to pay for this opportunity at the time of this posting. Actual compensation is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s experience, education, certifications, knowledge, skills and geography/ work location, and may ultimately be more or less than the posted range. Base pay does not include other forms of compensation, such as our offered benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA and 401k plan, holiday, sick and vacation days.
