Job Description

Job Requirements :

  • Design, Develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
  • Interacting with users to design high-level business specifications, technical specifications and complex or non-standard incidents/requests.
  • Developed and tested Informatica mappings in development and alpha environments and Performance Tuned the Informatica mappings.
  • Worked on Incidents like audit value mismatch between source and target databases, threshold breached below minimum and max limits and several data related incidents.
  • Using the concept of Test Driven Development (TDD), performed end-to-end test and code development using Ruby and Informatica tool respectively.
  • As a part of test driven development, test is written and data is generated using Ruby tool. Once the test is complete, the coding is done using Informatica tool from Source environment (Flat File) to Stage (Oracle database), Stage (Oracle) to Vault (Oracle database) and from Vault (Oracle database) to DataMart (Teradata database).
  • Also, worked on building the Business Objects reports for end users using Business Objects reporting tool. After designing the Business Objects report layout, worked on feeding the data into these reports.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop different test components and test scenarios to an enterprise application using Ruby Mine and JRuby.
  • Developing Perl/Shell scripts for automation purpose and write subversion to make jobs and tasks reusable that are susceptible to errors.
  • Works in an agile methodology with daily stand-ups, story cards, Iterations and every day status.
