Job Description Data Modeler - 2 positions at Des Moines / Charlotte

• 9 - 11 years of total experience with 6-7 years of full time data modeling experience.
• Knowledge of 3NF and dimensional modeling and ability to handle related challenges.
• Sound knowledge in EDW, design experience of complex models in EDW in banking domain.
• Teradata and MS SQL Server implementation knowledge for modeling.
• Experience in metadata in context to data modeling and data architecture.
• Hands‑on experience in Teradata physical implementation for large environments and performance analysis to suggest alternative paths to achieve required throughput.

BI Solution Architect - 1 position at Des Moines / Charlotte

• 10+ years of total experience with 6-7 years of full‑time data and BI architecture experience.
• Expertise in BI product stacks such as Teradata, SQL Server, BI Reporting, AbInitio and underlying architecture.
• Ability to understand current architecture and recommend end‑to‑end BI and EDW architecture.
• Overall responsibility for architecture and design, development, integration testing and implementation of data‑warehousing solution.
• Conduct BI Blueprint study, assess readiness and recommend BI road map.
• Implement strong BI processes, architecture standards and industry best practices.
• Monitor industry trends and identify emerging technologies for adoption.

Data Analyst - 4 positions at Des Moines / Charlotte

• 8+ years of experience with 5 years of experience as Data Analyst for Data Warehouse projects.
• Hands‑on experience in data mapping, data analysis, and data flow analysis in a complex data warehousing project.
• Hands‑on experience in Teradata SQL and query analysis.
• Ability to identify relevant data sources, design and implement software or procedures to extract and process data for EDW projects.
• Ability to interpret results and find insights in data; review and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Analyze complex data systems and document data elements, data flow, relationships and dependencies.
• Partner with Business Analysts, Business users and other stakeholders to define, capture, discuss and communicate requirements in a structured form (e.g., User Stories, Test Cases, Data Flow Diagrams, Acceptance Criteria).

Semantic Developer - 2 positions at Des Moines / Charlotte

• 10+ years overall experience working on software development projects, preferably with an emphasis on data warehouse / business intelligence projects.
• 5+ years of strong technical skills in Teradata; also working knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL Server.
• Extensively worked on development and implementation of data marts, data structures, functions, data warehouse fact & dimension tables, views and indexes.
• Demonstrated skills in creating data warehouse designs based on business and data requirements, and conducting reviews.
• Demonstrated skills working with multiple groups to define key reporting metrics, identify current database sources, assess the status of existing reporting capabilities and work with teams on go‑forward solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead meetings and effectively interact with Business Analysts, Project Managers, ETL developers, Quality Assurance and other end users regarding data needs.
• Excellent at writing complex SQL queries with inner and outer joins, aggregate functions, set operators, subqueries, system calendar, ranking functions, stored procedures, data types, logical and conditional expressions, macros, derived tables, CASE expressions, views, string functions and relational concepts.
• Demonstrated experience with SQL performance tuning.
