Saint Albert Catholic School is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Advancement Database Manager to support the school’s advancement and fundraising efforts.


The Advancement Database Manager will maintain accurate, up-to-date donor and advancement records; enter and track donations; prepare donor acknowledgment letters and tax letters; and produce reports that help the Chief Advancement Officer and school leadership make informed decisions.


This position is an important part of Saint Albert Catholic’s advancement operations and requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, organization, and attention to detail.


Essential Responsibilities
  • Enter gifts in the donor database.
  • Prepare and mail donor acknowledgment letters, pledge reminders, and tax letters.
  • Primary contact for keeping accurate information in the donor database.  
  • Generate reports and analysis monthly or as needed.
  • Assist the Chief Advancement Officer with administrative and organizational needs.
  • Support the Annual Appeal, major gift efforts, capital campaigns, and other fundraising initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist with donor lists, mailing lists, event invitations, and other advancement communications.
  • Assist with maintaining alumni and constituent records.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of donor and financial information.
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with administrators, staff, donors, volunteers, and community members.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with Blackbaud or a similar donor/advancement database.
  • Previous experience in advancement, fundraising, nonprofit administration, accounting, finance, or database management.
  • Experience producing financial or donor reports.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of charitable giving, donor acknowledgments, and nonprofit fundraising practices.
