Lead, Staff, and Senior Level Software Engineer – Cutting Edge Automated Guided Vehicle Tech Company – $140K-230k Plus bonus and stock options

This recently funded startup is automating the construction and mining space by retrofitting existing industrial vehicles to make them autonomous. Work alongside industry experts to develop autonomous systems using off-the-shelf components including cameras, microprocessors and lidar sensors and write machine learning software to make the work of mining and building more environmentally sound and safer.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop the whole perception stack and own the vision for perception.
  • Apply machine learning techniques, including deep learning, to train and fine-tune models for varied perception tasks.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to perception software, addressing challenges in data quality, algorithmic performance, and system integration.
Must Haves:
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Physics, Applied Mathematics or related technical field
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
  • Expertise in deep-learning frameworks (PyTorch and TensorFlow)
  • Knowledge and experience of lidar, sensor fusion, prediction and tracking.
