We are looking for a leader who is committed to leading and developing a TOP Junior Competitive Tennis Program, from creating a dynamic on court / off court training product, tournament travel, and college tennis recruitment. As a leader you must be committed to growth, retention, and high tennis delivery standards that leads to our junior having high success and scholarships to college. Genesis Health Clubs, is looking for Full Time Tennis Professionals that are passionate, hardworking, and have a great personality / attitude and who want to make a difference. We are looking for professionals that are committed to growth, retention, and high tennis delivery standards. Genesis Health Clubs has 10 tennis clubs with a total of 76 tennis courts (indoor/outdoor), over 63 tennis professionals, who deliver diverse tennis programming that impacts a very large tennis / health-wellness audience. Each club has state of the art fitness, health and wellness - evidenced by over 60 group fitness activities and the best in training equipment. Genesis Health Clubs has a very strong Personal Training program that engages members on their personal betterment journey. Under the direction of the National Tennis Director and the Club - Tennis Director, the Leader of Junior Competitive Tennis will create and deliver a dynamic, high energy, engaging and success driven training program for junior competitive players.
The Leader of Junior Competitive Tennis will be responsible for all duties associated with on court teaching, off court and building of a competitive tennis program. Genesis Health Clubs offers great opportunities for advancement and professional success. The general roles and responsibilities of the Full Time Junior Competitive Director:
• Being a passionate and inspirational ambassador and advocate for Junior Competitive Tennis.
  • To deliver and maintain an hourly average on court of 35 hours per week and develop/create/ promote junior competitive program.
  • Create a strong parent / player / pro education and support model.
  • Research and learn the programming features and on courts tools to deliver this high energy fun and success driven program.
    • Provide private and group lessons for junior competitive players.
    • Responsible for the financial accountability of the programs and privates you teach. Budgeting and financial accounting for tournament travel will be your responsibility.
  • Train / supervise, and develop a team of professionals to deliver a dynamic and success driven training environment.
  • Responsible for the court playing environment from a safety and cleanliness experience.
    DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS:
    • College degree strongly preferred.
    • 2 or more years of competitive teaching experience. Working with junior competitive players must be evidenced or high level of competitive play.
  • USPTA and/or PTR Certified - high level certification. Performance Certification preferred.
    • Level of Play 4.5 or higher. College player experience is needed.
  • Positive, engaging, honest, respectful, dedicated, and caring, with a sincere desire to provide a high level of personalized service. All the things you would expect in a successful professional.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. High professional skills.
