Montgomery County Parks, Enterprise Division, is currently seeking dynamic, energetic, fun seasonal/intermittent applicants to fill our exciting positions at either Pauline Betz Addie Tennis Center at Cabin John Regional Park or the Wheaton Indoor Tennis Center located in Wheaton, MD. Examples of Important Duties OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE: Tennis Front Desk/Manager Aide (Starting @ $15.45/hr) Performs program and/or facility management duties in assisting management staff

Serves as the facility's first point-of-contact for customer questions and/or concerns. Assists full time managers in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility, inspect for cleanliness, safety issues and sanitation. Opening and closing duties for facility.

Processes program registrations, rental applications, and court reservations. Must be comfortable performing basic computer functions (e.g. data entry capabilities)

Performs cash handling, prepares daily bank deposits and runs cash reports. Applicant should have a pleasant demeanor, be able to work independently, and be knowledgeable of facility programs, fees and policies. Additional on-site training will be provided.

Pay rate is based on experience and qualifications. Minimum Qualifications: Weekend and evening work is required, comfortable performing basic computer functions, and a minimum age of 16. Supplemental Information May be subject to medical, drug and alcohol testing.

These positions are seasonal (part-time) and do not include benefits. Pay rates are based on experience and qualifications. All selected candidates must display excellent customer service skills, attain First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications (training classes available) and attend in-house orientation.
