Job description

PAY RANGE $16-$35 PER HOUR (D.O.E.)

This is a Part-Time Tennis Instructor position to help with Jr. and Adult Tennis Clinics. Youth Clinics run Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-6:00pm. Evening Adult Clinics 6:00pm-7:00pm. Saturday Morning Clinics 8:30am-12:00pm.

JOB SUMMARY

Park City Recreation Department is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Tennis Instructors. Tennis experience is mandatory, but no certification is required. Pay is determined by level of experience and certification with possible positions of Tennis Instructor I, II, III, and Senior Tennis Instructor.

TYPICAL JOB DUTIES

Leads and organizes tennis programs to youth and adults with various skill levels.
Teaches all types of tennis programming from clinics to private lessons.
Reports maintenance issues of the tennis facility to the Tennis Professionals to keep the tennis facility in good working order and to provide a safe environment for staff and patrons.
Attends appropriate or required department-wide training opportunities.
Provides exceptional customer service to the clients (and parents when applicable).
Responds to public inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
Tennis experience.
Must be at least 14 years of age.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and run.
The employee is occasionally required to use hands to handle or operate objects, controls, or tools.
Work is performed indoors and outdoors at the recreation facility.
The noise level in the work environment may be low to moderate.
