Compensation Range: $18/hr - $19/hr commensurate with experience

Overview:
The Data Entry Specialist position provides data support to the IE PrEP team, focusing on data collection, data entry, and data analysis/reporting. The position is responsible for submitting data for Aids Institute funded contracts. It assists a cross-functional team in analyzing and understanding site-wide performance toward HIV prevention goals, as well as tracking Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Collect service encounters and data from improving Equity PrEP team members on a recurring basis.
  • Enter service encounters and data into all related electronic platforms.
  • Analyze and aggregate data regularly in preparation for program reporting.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports from data recording platforms.
  • Perform regular audits on program data and coordinate with front-line staff to make appropriate corrections
  • Record and document services into the Aids Institute for AIRS systems as per contractual agreements.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and weekly supervision, attending training for further skills development as required.
  • Additional clerical/administrative duties as needed, including but not limited to: filing, sorting, logging and tracking of program incentives, managing purchase requests, planning of program events, tracking point of care HIV/STI tests and testing supplies, aiding in program QI documentation, data collection, and participating in client outreach activities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred
  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
  • 2 years of related experience in the field of human services, health information, or medical services focusing on data entry

  • Knowledge of HIV, mental illness, substance use, homelessness and other chronic conditions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
