As a Shipping Coordinator within Tempus Technologies, subsidiary of PNC, you will be based in Auburn, IN.
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders from order review through carrier pickup. This role reviews sales orders in the ERP (NetSuite) system, picks products from inventory, packages materials for shipment, completes shipping transactions, and prepares orders for scheduled FedEx pickups. The Shipping Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately, efficiently, and on time while maintaining inventory accuracy and shipping quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and verify customer orders in ERP (NetSuite) for accuracy and completeness.
• Pick products from inventory according to order requirements.
• Inspect items for accuracy, quality, and condition prior to shipment.
• Package products securely to prevent damage during transportation.
• Generate packing slips, shipping documentation, and FedEx shipping labels.
• Complete shipment processing and inventory transactions in ERP (NetSuite).
• Apply shipping labels and verify package weights and dimensions.
• Stage completed shipments for scheduled FedEx pickup.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shipping area.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or shipping issues to management.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives as needed.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and shipping regulations.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support shipping, warehouse, inventory, and operational needs.
Qualifications & Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, logistics, or fulfillment experience preferred.
• Experience using ERP (NetSuite) or other enterprise resource planning systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily shipping deadlines.
• Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and order processing.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable work ethic and commitment to accuracy.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull packages up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, squat, and kneel regularly.
• Ability to use hands and fingers for packaging, labeling, and computer work.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment, if required.
This role is performed on-site at our Auburn, IN warehouse.

Job Description
  • Executes routine and complex transactions/processes of elevated risk and financial value utilizing standard policies and procedures. May have specific responsibility for one or multiple specialized products or functional areas.
  • Identifies and addresses exceptions. May serve as a point of escalation for complex transactions. Partners internally with service partners to route calls, documents or other action items to complete transactions. May interact with external customers to complete transactions.
  • Ensures the appropriate materials and documentation are available to complete transactions. Confirms equipment is operational, if applicable.
  • Provides consultation and advice to internal and external customers. May review existing processes and recommend improvements and may facilitate implementation. Participates in and may serve as a subject matter resource for process improvement projects. Assist in training and onboarding of new hires.
  • Reviews transactions and related documents to verify completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and compliance with applicable policies and procedures. May participate in risk mitigation activities.
