Era Living is seeking a full-time Custodian/Laundry Attendant to become the newest member of our Housekeeping team located in our University House Wallingford Community, Seattle, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Saturday-Wednesday, 7:30AM to 4:00PM. This is a temporary position that will last for 3 months.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Laundry Attendant performs day-to-day laundry functions including: collecting dirty laundry, sorting, and pre-spotting when necessary; washing, drying, folding ironing laundry using industrial sized equipment. This position will also serve as a back-up custodian in times of absence, performing routine cleaning, washing, sanitizing duties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·         Basic technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform routine housekeeping and laundry functions in a health care institution

·         Ability to perform duties in compliance with established Universal Precautions, fire safety, infection control and sanitation procedures, and Era Living policies and procedures

·         Ability to read, write and communicate in English

·         Ability to pass DSHS background check, required
