Job description

Overview

The Shield Co. Management / EcoShield Pest Solutions is one of the fastest-growing pest control companies in the country! We do this by delivering exceptional experiences to our customers, employees, partners, and communities—treating everyone like family. This position is on-site and reports to our Plano, TX (75074) branch.

Please note: while applications will be reviewed and interviews may begin earlier, the official start date for this role is expected to be [March,1,2026]. Candidates must be available to begin employment on or shortly after that date

The Seasonal Mosquito Technician is responsible for performing routine mosquito control treatments at customer homes throughout the mosquito season. This role focuses on delivering consistent, high-quality exterior treatments while providing a professional and positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled mosquito control treatments at residential customer locations according to company procedures and training
  • Apply mosquito control products safely and effectively to exterior areas of customer properties
  • Follow daily routes and service schedules assigned
  • Provide courteous, professional interactions with customers and address basic service-related questions
  • Maintain accurate service records, service tickets, and system entries, submitting all documentation on time
  • Conduct daily check-outs with management as required before completing the final stop of the day
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning company vehicle in accordance with company standards
  • Attend required meetings and complete all assigned training, including Pest Web Training

 

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of customer service experience, preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license, as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role. Driving record must meet the company’s insurance standards.  
  • Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).

  • This position offers an hourly base pay range of ($16.00/hour), with additional compensation opportunities.
