LTC Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a Night 5x8-Hour schedule from 23:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Long-Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional nursing care for our patients. The ideal candidate will have prior charge experience and the ability to float between units as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor patient vital signs and health status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Long-Term Care.
  • Previous charge nurse experience required.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Must possess a valid New York state RN license at time of application.
  • Experience with the Community Hospital charting system is required.
