MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a dynamic cardiac unit setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, including competency in phlebotomy and IV placement, which are essential for this role. This position involves monitoring and managing patients with cardiac conditions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care and monitor patients in a cardiac unit.
  • Perform phlebotomy and IV placements as required.
  • Interpret dysrhythmias and manage related patient care interventions.
  • Utilize rapid response teams effectively.
  • Administer oxygen and manage non-invasive airway devices.
  • Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and safety protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a similar role.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Valid NY RN license required, in hand at the time of submission.
  • Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
