How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN), delivering safe, evidence-based nursing services that support positive patient outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Implement, assess, and monitor individualized patient care plans while documenting clinical findings accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR).
  • Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, ensuring effective care coordination, timely communication, and continuity of patient care.
  • Administer treatments and physician orders while supporting discharge planning, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance with clinical safety standards.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (GN) obtained prior to start date or job transfer date is required-OR-Temporary or Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Texas is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date-OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking
  • 1 year previous emergency department experience preferred.
