Full-Time Registered Nurse

Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be committed to ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Some Saturdays required. 

Responsibilities:

  •         Provide pre-operative and postoperative nursing care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures.
  •         Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient care process.
  •        Monitor patients' vital signs, assess their condition, and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
  •          Administer medications and treatments according to established policies and procedures.
  •          Educate patients and their families on postoperative care and recovery.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current, active RN license in the state
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Prior experience in pre-admissions, pre-op, PACU, or surgical setting preferred, willing to train motivated RN’s
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
