Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in La Jolla, California.

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Location: La Jolla, CA
Shift: Nights | 3x12s | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Contract: 13 weeks
Start Date: 09/14/2026

We are seeking experienced L&D RNs for a Perinatal Float Pool supporting Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and LDRP units.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of combined L&D and Postpartum experience — HARD STOP
  • Active CA RN license required
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP and Advanced NRP required
  • AWHONN Intermediate required
  • Travel experience required
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Must be willing to float between L&D, Postpartum and Hillcrest LDRP
  • Every other weekend
  • 1 additional OT shift every 2 weeks based on unit needs
  • No RTO during first 3 weeks
