Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment through scheduled preventative maintenance, timely repairs, and proactive problem-solving. The role involves diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with production teams to address equipment needs promptly. The technician will also assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Essential Functions:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and prepare reports on equipment performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems in processing equipment.
