SNELLING STAFFING IS SEEKING WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATES, MACHINE OPERATORS AND QUALITY INSPECTORS FOR OUR WAREHOUSE/DISTRIBUTION CLIENT IN SHELBY TOWNSHIP. This is a non-automotive company with a fun environment looking for motivated individuals who will come to work when scheduled with a great attitude and ready to work.
1st shift, Temp to Hire
Warehouse Associate- $17/hour
  • Stack and organize boxes on to pallets
  • Wrap and weigh pallets using equipment (Forklift, Hi-Lo, electric pallet jack)
  • Prepare shipping paperwork (pallet sheets, tags, summaries)
  • Enter shipment details into our Warehouse Management System
  • Create Bills of Lading and coordinate with carriers
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP's) for shipments.
  • Help with unloading containers and loading trucks
  • Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and running smoothly
Machine Operators- $17/hour
  • Assemble parts according to instructions.
  • Test assembled parts for accuracy and functionality.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Maintain good attendance and a positive attitude.
  • Operate injection molding presses to produce products.
  • Perform visual inspection, trimming, and packing of injection molded plastic products.
  • Identify molding defects such as shorts, splay, burns, flash, color swirls, and contamination.
  • Complete and maintain accurate production, scrap, and downtime paperwork.
  • Train to run multiple presses and assemble products at standard cycle times.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in injection molding or assembly.
  • Familiarity and experience with 5S and Lean manufacturing systems is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
Quality Inspector- $20-22/hour
  • Check products daily to make sure they meet quality standards.
  • Make sure equipment meets safety rules.
  • Help with certifications like NOCSAE.
  • Keep an eye on supplier quality.
  • Write clear instructions and keep records up to date.
  • Help create alerts and action plans when issues come up.
  • Assist with quality control plans and production readiness.
  • Work with teams on new product projects.
  • Basic knowledge of quality checks and safety standards.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to use measuring tools like force and height gauges.
