Position Summary
The Gannon University College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences invites applications for two Visiting Faculty in the Department of Psychology, specialization open, to begin in August 2026 on the Ursuline College campus of Gannon University in Pepper Pike, Ohio. If the anticipated merger between Ursuline College and Gannon University has not taken place by the start date for these positions, the faculty will instead be hired by Ursuline College.
The successful candidates will teach Introductory Psychology and other courses in their area of expertise, advise students and prepare them intellectually, professionally, and personally, and will be expected to engage in scholarly activities in keeping with the Boyer Model of Scholarship as is appropriate to the application and receipt of promotion at Gannon. Requirements include a master's degree or Ph.D. (preferred) in Psychology or related discipline with demonstrated teaching excellence in higher education. ABD candidates may also be considered. Candidates must be able to support and promote the University's inclusive Mission, its Catholic identity, and its liberal arts and professional education traditions.

Required Qualifications
Education: A master's degree or Ph.D. (preferred) in Psychology or related discipline.
