This is a 4-month contract. This position is for temporary engagement through our staffing partner, Yoh Enterprise Solutions.
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Capture Artist to join our team on a temporary contract basis to support the creation of marketing and promotional materials, in addition to in game and social content.
The Capture Artist will be responsible for capturing high-quality gameplay footage and screenshots that showcase gameplay features and game modes. This role requires a strong understanding of video game mechanics, visual storytelling, and production workflows. The ideal candidate is passionate about gaming and possesses excellent attention to detail, an eye for good shot composition, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
  • Capture high-quality gameplay footage and screenshots across various game modes and gameplay scenarios.
  • Create visually compelling gameplay moments that highlight key features, mechanics, and player experiences.
  • Stage and execute specific gameplay scenarios based on creative briefs and marketing requirements.

Technical Operations
  • Work with debug game builds and capture hardware.
  • Operate various recording devices to capture gameplay.
  • Configure and manage recording settings to meet project specifications.
  • Troubleshoot game builds, hardware, and software issues.
  • Maintain organization of captured assets, including proper naming conventions and file management.

Collaboration
  • Work closely with Producers, Creative Directors, Game Developers, Marketing, and Editorial teams to fulfill content requests.
  • Participate in capture planning sessions and creative reviews.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and asset status to stakeholders.

Asset Management
  • Organize captured assets and distribute to editorial personnel both on-site and remote.
  • Maintain accurate records of builds, capture settings, and content requests.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality and technical standards.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience working with debug builds and camera controls.
  • General computer proficiency on Mac and PC.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction.
  • Strong organizational and asset management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive and productive attitude.

This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate.
$25-$35 USD
