Alto Clermont is seeking a creative, passionate Activity Assistant (Lifestyle Assistant) to support life enrichment programming in our Ensemble (Memory Care) neighborhood. This is a temporary full-time position through October 31, 2026 - with the possibility of extension for the right person.

What You'll Do:
  • Plan and lead engaging, person-centered activities designed specifically for Memory Care residents
  • Create meaningful daily moments - music, reminiscence, sensory experiences, crafts, and movement
  • Build genuine relationships with residents, honoring their individual stories and abilities
  • Support a warm, stimulating environment in our Ensemble neighborhood
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure programming aligns with each resident's needs
  • Transport residents on community outings safely and responsibly

What You Bring:

The primary responsibility of the Lifestyle Assistant is to assist the Lifestyle Director in providing a full-time social and activity program at the Community for all residents and families. Encouraging resident socialization, improving daily living skills, expanding personal interests, increasing physical activity and education. Making every effort to maintain and expand the lifestyle of all the residents.
Areas of Responsibility
  • Assist the Lifestyle Director in conducting and coordinating scheduled activities seven days a week for all the residents at the Community.
  • Assist in preparing the monthly Lifestyle calendar, posting the calendar, and distributing it to all residents.
  • Facilitate and support monthly resident council meetings and other resident meetings as directed by the Lifestyle Director.
  • Assist the Lifestyle Director in contacting appropriate community groups and volunteers to perform specific activities and to assist in the Lifestyle programs.
  • Assist in scheduling transportation for residents.
  • Be prepared to drive the property vehicles on an as needed basis.
  • Assessing residents' social and lifestyle activity preferences.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or 21 to drive the company bus.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for the state where the vehicle is operated.
  • Must possess high energy/enthusiasm, decision making, problem solving, planning/organization, and rapport building skills.
  • Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company Fleet Safety standards. Driving is an essential function of this position and a condition of employment. Associates in this role are required to meet and maintain Company driving eligibility and insurability requirements to perform assigned job duties.
  • MVR reviews will be conducted at hire and periodically thereafter in accordance with Company policy. Failure to meet or maintain Company driving standards may result in removal from driving responsibilities and may impact continued employment eligibility for this position.
  • The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum one (1) year of related experience at an independent living, assisted living, or senior nursing facility preferred.
  • CDL license a perk, may be required at some locations, inquire within.
