The role spans user research, information architecture, interaction design, content strategy, and service design, with a willingness to leverage AI powered tools to accelerate and enhance the design process. We value designers who learn quickly, iterate often, and continuously seek better ways to solve problems. Experience in healthcare or health insurance is essential, as this role requires navigating complex regulatory environments, understanding enrollment and eligibility workflows, and designing for diverse user populations.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts, iterating based on feedback.
  • Design and define interactive experiences that align with user goals, business objectives, and technical constraints.

  • Apply vibe coding techniques to rapidly build functional prototypes and proof of concept interfaces using AI-assisted code generation, enabling faster validation of design concepts with real interactions.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging AI tools into the UX workflow, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency in research synthesis, design iteration, and handoff processes.
  • Apply healthcare and health insurance domain knowledge to design experiences that account for regulatory requirements, accessibility standards, and the needs of diverse user populations, including consumers, brokers, and assisters.

Requirements
  • Colorado resident.
  • Education and/or training in Product Psychology, Human Interaction Computing, or Product Design preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or a related regulated industry, with a strong understanding of enrollment workflows, eligibility systems, and consumer-facing health platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, user research, or product design.
  • Proficiency in UX design prototyping software and user testing tools.
  • Experience with Agile.
  • Proficiency with product analytics software.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design and productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Figma Make) and a willingness to experiment with new AI capabilities.
  • Experience with or interest in vibe coding, using AI-assisted code generation to rapidly build functional prototypes, interactive demos, or lightweight front-end interfaces.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Angular) sufficient to guide and evaluate AI-generated code outputs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for data and improving customer experience.
