Pharmacist Contract Opportunity

A leading healthcare facility in Los Angeles is seeking skilled pharmacists to support its inpatient pharmacy operations on a contract basis. Schedule: Variable days/afternoons, 4 shifts of 10 hours per week

Employment Type: Contract with temp-to-perm possibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and distributive pharmacy services to support inpatient care within a large county hospital setting.
  • Ensure accurate dispensing, preparation, and verification of medications in compliance with regulatory and hospital standards.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to contribute to optimal patient medication management.
  • Participate successfully in competency assessments to maintain scope of practice within the health system.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Pharmacists with a PGY1 residency or approximately 2 years of current inpatient hospital experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills in high-pressure health environments.
  • Eligibility and willingness to complete competency testing and background clearance promptly.
