Sleeper Team Tractor Trailer Driver

Join a national network of reliable tractor trailer drivers, called sleeper teams. In this role, you'll partner with another UPSer and take turns behind the wheel on long-haul routes between UPS facilities.

UPS sleeper teams, sometimes called OTR (Over-the-Road) drivers, enjoy the open road, covering long distances in well-maintained UPS trucks, and return home after 4–6 days on the road.

Sleeper team tractor trailer drivers work days, nights and/or weekends for long-haul trips of 4-6 days.

What you'll need:

  • Valid Class A CDL license (commercial driver's license) in home state
  • Doubles/Triples endorsement may be needed depending on location
  • Pass the DOT physical
  • Reliability, responsibility, and a love of truck driving
  • Legal right to work in the U.S
  • Sleeper team tractor trailer drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
