Job description

General Laborer (Temporary)
United Talent Staffing is currently seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to support our client, in maintaining and preparing modular buildings and trailers for future customers. This is a temporary assignment expected to last 1–3 months with the opportunity for overtime.
Work Schedule
  • Monday–Friday
  • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Some overtime required based on business needs
Position Summary
The General Laborer is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and the holding yard for customer use. This role requires individuals who can work safely in an outdoor environment, perform physical labor, and assist technicians with daily operations.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare returned trailers for customer delivery.
  • Perform general cleaning, detailing, and waxing of trailers.
  • Pick up trash and maintain a clean, organized holding yard.
  • Assist technicians with daily tasks and projects.
  • Act as a spotter for forklift operators when moving trailers and equipment.
  • Safely lift and move materials up to 40 pounds without assistance.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Previous general labor, warehouse, construction, or cleaning experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions.
Dress Code & PPE
  • Steel-toe boots with a minimum 6-inch ankle support are required.
  • Jeans or work pants with no holes.
  • Company provide T-shirts and all required PPE.
