Job Description

The technician will resolve Third Party Rejects, System Exceptions and Manual Exceptions based on a first in first out basis. The technician will communicate with patients, prescribers and third party plans to resolve exceptions as needed. 

Essential Functions:

  • Resolve Exceptions/Issues in a timely manner. 
  • Release exceptions from PROMISE system. 
  • Work with client systems to access on-line eligibility. 
  • Identifies and communicates issues to the Group Supervisor and/or Call Center Pharmacists. 
  • Telephone communication with Plans, Processors, Patients, etc. 

Other duties as needed such as assisting with Order Entry, Registration, and, and Outbound Call Center.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements/ Licensures:

  • Trainee or Certified Pharmacy Technician or must become a Certified Pharmacy Technician within 1 year of becoming a licensed trainee.  
  • Please note in the blurb when their temp license is expiring - If it is anytime in 2017, they have to commit to renewing it the month prior of its expiration.
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends and overtime as needed. - this facility is open between 6am and 12am
  • Comfortable working with a Workforce Management System - tracks clocking in/ clocking out and all calls/ activity)
