Temporary Ticket Scanner Jobs in Chicago, IL (NOW HIRING)

PrideStaff is seeking qualified and experienced Order Pickers for a Client in New Lenox, IL. The ideal candidate will manage pick ticket orders as assigned by warehouse management and physically pull inventory from the shelves to ensure accurate delivery of warehouse products. Candidate will also pack orders, including shrink wrapping contents onto pallets, and ensures orders are accurate and records of inventory are kept up to date for a smooth flow in warehouse operations.

This is a 1st/mid-shift position, with a schedule of 11am-7pm.

Pay: $17-$19/hr

We are looking for individuals who have experience with:

• RF scanner
• Pallet Jack

As an Order Picker

• Manages pick ticket orders via RF scanner
• Pulls warehouse items from the shelves based on item number, quantity, and quality
  requirements
• Build shipping skids/ Small parcel packages to ship in a manner to assure no damage
• Follow special instructions included in order comments
• Communicate issues with inventory versus what the RF scanner shows
• Ensures that orders are accurate
• Print Labels and Paperwork to include with shipment
• Stage orders in designated areas per carrier
• Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed
• Ensures warehouse goals are met
• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
• Shrink wraps products to pallets
• Packs warehouse orders as necessary
• Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked and

Qualified Candidates will

• Previous Experience Working in a Warehouse Preferred
• Experience Working With an RF Scanner Preferred
• Experience handling forklifts, pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment Preferred
• Attention to Detail; Ability to Lift Heavy Objects
• Ability to Stay on Feet for Long Periods of Time
• Positive Attitude, Self-Motivated, Active, Safety Conscious
• Ability to Work in a Fast Paced, Busy Environment
• Good Communication Skills
• Ability to Work Well on a Team but Be Self-Motivated and Independent at Times
