Job description

Job Summary

The Sr. Manager, Strategic Planning (Thermal) drives strategic planning, growth initiatives, and business transformation programs across the Thermal business globally. This role partners with leadership to define corporate priorities, identify strategic opportunities, and ensure alignment between product lines, regions, functions, and long-term market trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and execution of multi-year strategic plans, growth roadmaps, and portfolio optimization efforts.
  • Conduct in-depth market, competitor, and technology analyses to support investment decisions and global positioning.
  • Collaborate with business, functional, and regional leaders to translate portfolio strategy into actionable business initiatives.
  • Support M&A, partnerships, and strategic investments through strategic diligence, business modeling, and integration planning.
  • Facilitate workshops, strategy reviews, and annual planning sessions with senior leaders.
  • Define and track key performance indicators to monitor strategic progress and ensure accountability.
  • Drive cross-functional transformation and organizational alignment initiatives to accelerate growth and efficiency.
  • Serve as a thought partner to the executive committee, providing insights on emerging technologies, regulatory shifts, and competitive disruptions.
  • Provide people leadership to two direct reports, including goal setting, coaching, development, performance management, and prioritization of work.
  • Build a high-performing strategy team by fostering engagement, analytical rigor, and collaboration.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Business, Engineering or related field
  • 5-7 Years of experience 
  • Consulting experience preferred
  • Industry experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, ETL tools, and AI prompts
  • Travel Required:  up to 10%
