IT Technical Support
Technical Services - Information Technology
Position Summary:
The IT Technical Supports are responsible for analyzing and providing solutions to networking issues and providing technical support to other departments, as well as troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving issues with both hardware and software. Provides technical support of desktop computers, applications and related technology to all company staff including installation and testing of computer systems, responding to inquiries of users concerning problems/resources or for diagnosing reported problems with hardware, software and/or operator problem.
Outline of duties:
  • Complete detailed reports listing requests for technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involved
  • Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system related concerns from clients or other employees
  • Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage
  • Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer hardware
  • Maintain a working log detailing all required system updates, as well as the date of completion.
  • Attend in-person meetings with clients to analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems
  • Resolve technical issues related to network interruptions
  • Actively update, maintain, and monitor all aspects of computer networks
  • May be responsible for hardware swap/install
  • Assists Associates in troubleshooting technical challenges
  • Coordinate with other software professionals and developers
  • Drives Kaizen activity, applies statistical and other improvement tools
  • Leads and/or supports continuous improvement activities to improve functionality
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience

Desired Qualifications:
  • CompTIA A+ certification
