Job description

Our client, the oldest Reform synagogue in New York City is seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant.

  • This is a long-term temporary position from Monday, 07/13 – Monday, 09/21.
  • The work schedule is Monday – Thursday, 10am – 4pm and fully onsite.
  • The pay rate range is $26.00 per hour.

Position Details

Tasks would include: ( Being: Polished, professional, and kind are of the utmost importance for our members)

  • Answering phones (phone call volume is extremely high during this period)
  • Assist with member outreach calls (significant amount of time)
  • Updating contact information in the database
  • Assisting with special projects – new member gift mailing (honey dishes and candles) / High Holy Days service prep
  • Assisting with event preparations
  • High Holy Days in-person staffing (if necessary)
