Job description

Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Opportunity in Wisconsin | 750K+ Year One Potential

Join a physician-led orthopaedic group with a strong referral base, efficient surgical infrastructure, and a sports-focused case mix. This opportunity offers high procedural volume across the shoulder and knee, access to a practice-owned ASC, and a partnership track with significant long-term earning potential.

Position Highlights

  • Join 4 orthopaedic surgeons and a Foot & Ankle specialist, supported by 4 APPs with the option for a dedicated PA or NP
  • Sports-focused practice including arthroscopic shoulder and knee procedures, ACL and meniscus repairs, rotator cuff and labral repairs, and sports trauma
  • Comprehensive on-site resources including MRI, walk-in clinic, therapy, and a practice-owned ASC
  • Expected surgical volume of 5 to 8 sports cases per week, with room to grow
  • Ancillary income potential through ASC and therapy revenue streams
Schedule & Call

  • Clinic volume of approximately 20 to 30 patients per day
  • Steady referrals from primary care and internal orthopaedic partners
  • Shared 1:5 call rotation, commonly 2 call shifts per week
  • Hospitalist support for admissions
  • Efficient ASC days with select overnight capability during the week for appropriate cases
Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary plus productivity bonus
  • Year 1 anticipated earnings of 750,000+
  • Partnership eligibility at the start of Year 2 with a collections-based model
  • 100% employee health insurance paid by the group, PTO, CME, 401(k), and malpractice coverage with tail
Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Sports Medicine
  • Comfortable with arthroscopic shoulder and knee procedures and operative and non-operative sports injury management
  • Team-oriented approach with interest in building a long-term practice and pursuing partnership
