This is a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience
Summary:
This is a Temporary, 13-week, full-time (36-hours a week) night shift position.
Unit Bio:
Lincoln Hospital offers Emergency Care, Intensive Care, Ambulatory Surgery and supporting laboratory and diagnostic services in one convenient location. Other departments include Obstetrics, Radiology, Wellness and Rehabilitation and the full spectrum of preventative care and surgical services.
The Registered Nurse II - Shift Supervisor role is a patient focused and operational/administrative staff position for all teams within Patient Care Services and will serve as a liaison to other teams within the hospital to facilitate patient care and support services.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. ICU, SCU, ED and PACU RN's require ACLS and PALS Certifications within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines. OB, NICU RN's require NRP Certification within one year of start date or in accordance with Department guidelines.
  3. Experience: Experience in a clinical setting required. Three years of relevant experience in emergency or critical care preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse - Shift Supervisor role.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women required.
