Job description

Facilitates total communication between Spanish Only speaking employees and department management. Assures Spanish Only speaking employees are properly trained and facilitates understanding of departmental and company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties

* Assists in the development of the Spanish Only speaking programs/activities.

* Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Education

Associates degree/equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Two (2) years' experience in Spanish/English language interpretation. Demonstrated proficiency in Spanish and English languages, oral, written & reverse interpreting. Certified Spanish-English interpreter or translator.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Comprehensive knowledge of Spanish-Only speaking culture and the needs and concerns of Spanish-Only speaking persons. Strong human relations, oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
