Job description

Role Description - This specific project is creating a very large deposition tool for HTS (high temperature superconductor) tape on an accelerated schedule. 

 
Required Experience -

  • Mechanical design and documentation using SolidWorks. 

  • gas delivery,
  • high temp/heaters,
  • deposition/shower heads,
  • vacuum chambers (low vac),
  • thin tape handling,
  • vacuum components (pumps, valves, etc.) or basic frame design.
  • Requires less specific background skills and involves more general packaging for a laser platform (electrical enclosure, etc.)
The engineer needs to be able to work independently on executing designs. Concept development not required. The individual must be able to execute accurately without a lot of supervision/guidance.
