We are currently partnering with an exceptional district in Cook County, IL seeking a compassionate on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year.
This district is searching for an experienced service provider to support speech and language services for students during the 2026-2027 school year. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with a student-centered team and help students thrive academically, emotionally, and socially through targeted speech and language therapies.


Position Details:

  • Location: On-site (Cook County)
  • Assignment Length: Fall 2026 - January 2027
  • Schedule: Full-Time, follows district schedule
  • Compensation: $68 - $74 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted speech and language therapy services and interventions to students of varying age groups in a school setting (on-site).
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders to support students' academic and social success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs.
  • Conduct evaluations and progress monitoring to inform instruction and ensure compliance with district/state guidelines.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of services, assessments, and student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and other required team meetings during ESY.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Illinois SLP License (required).
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement (required).
  • Prior school-based and/or pediatric experience strongly preferred.
