Job description

Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas (GSSWT) is headquartered in San Antonio, TX, and serves more than 10,000 Girl Scouts (girls and adults) across 21 counties in southwest Texas. Girl Scouts is the world’s preeminent leadership development organization for girls, building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.

The Summer Program Delivery Specialist provides administrative support to the Mission Delivery department and is responsible for developing and implementing plans to support girls and families through the Girl Scout program delivery at various summer camp sites around the City of San Antonio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partners with summer site leaders, administrators, and community-based organizations to implement the Girl Scout program through summer program deliveries at summer camp program sites.
  • Travels to various community centers and school sites throughout the week to deliver Girl Scout programming to girls enrolled at these summer camp sites.
  • Assists with the delivery of activities/programs at the West Side Girl Scout Leadership Center.
  • Creates a trusting, cooperative relationship with partnering community organizations.
  • Maintains adequate attendance, record keeping, paperwork processes, purchasing processes and database administration for program participation and evaluation.
  • Collaborates with Girl Scouts staff and program volunteers.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for campers and staff.
  • Be a role model to campers and staff in attitude and behavior.
  • Supports the summer program plans for the Mission Delivery department.
  • Performs additional duties assigned in support of the council’s mission and goals.
