Contract to Hire based on performance, however it is not guaranteed They are looking for the strongest candidate, so they will look at people who are only interested in temp as well as temp to perm. This person will be doing journal entries, performance narratives, budgeting, but they need someone who is strong on the analytics side, that is the most important part. Looking for 3-5 years of experience, healthcare experience is a plus Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance MBA is a plus No certifications needed This person must be able to multi-task, they need to be able to take on multiple tasks and still meet deadlines This is the Dialysis division of Henry Ford and they have to be able to tellthe story of how the program is performing Must have strong Excel skills PeopleSoft experience would be great Someone who can help with Process Improvement would be great Experience in budgeting would be helpful Being able to switch from one task to another is important They will be working with 3 other analysts This position is onsite 5 days a week Teams Interview

What you'll be doing…

  • Prepare, validate, and analyze crucial financial information.
  • Craft precise journal entries and maintain meticulous fixed asset records.
  • Monthly reconciliation of fixed asset and general ledger account balances.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally for seamless resolution of financial issues, including timely asset retirements.
  • Provide comprehensive support for both internal and external audits.
  • Contribute to the preparation of footnotes for quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Embrace other responsibilities and assignments as required.

The right person has…

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's Degree preferred).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a knack for storytelling through numbers.
  • Proficiency in Excel and, ideally, experience with PeopleSoft.
  • A flair for process improvement and adaptability to switch between tasks effortlessly.
  • Competence in budgeting and a history of collaborating with multiple analysts.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a bonus!
