Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM (Overtime available as needed)


Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Drilling / Laser / Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for
setting up, operating, and maintaining tube laser equipment, drilling equipment, and press brake machinery while producing high-quality parts that meet
customer specifications.
The ideal candidate has experience operating CNC manufacturing equipment, can read blueprints, has strong mechanical aptitude, and is committed to safety,
quality, and productivity.


Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate tube laser, drilling, and press brake equipment according to work instructions and production schedules.
  • Select and verify raw materials using tape measures, calipers, and EMJ color codes.
  • Load raw materials using forklifts, side loaders, and overhead cranes.
  • Import part files into laser systems using Windows-based software.
  • Adjust machine settings, including laser focus, gas pressure, power settings, lenses, nozzles, and filters.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor operational issues.
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and packaging instructions.
  • Package finished parts according to customer specifications.
  • Transport finished products to staging areas using forklifts, side loaders, or overhead cranes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.


Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of manufacturing or machine operating experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License preferred.
  • Ability to become certified to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Experience with warehousing or material handling is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Basic math skills, including fractions and measurement conversions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.


Physical Requirements:

  • Medium-duty work requiring:-Up to 50 pounds occasionally-Up to 20 pounds frequently-Up to 10 pounds continuously-Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work throughout an entire shift.
  • Work performed in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
