Description

Purpose of Job: Responsible for coordinating daily human resources activities, such as employment, labor relations, benefits, leave, payroll, and employee services. Enforces company policies and practices. Maintains all company HR records.


Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Administer human resources policies and procedures for all company personnel including drug screening and background checks

Monitors timely completion of employee performance reviews

Monitors employee leave and time records, ensuring policies are followed and accurate records are maintained

Assist in the development of policies and procedures and maintaining the employee

handbook

Perform benefits administration and communicate benefit information to employees

Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, and temporary employees including placing and approving ads through Paylocity

Ensure new hire orientation materials are up to date and loaded into onboarding in Paylocity

Assist in the onboarding of new hires 

Assist management in the administration of disciplinary actions

Handle termination processes

Handle worker's compensation cases

Handle FMLA or STD cases

Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continuous improvement

Maintain all human resource information/records

Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment

Promote and monitor wellness programs for company employees

Lead and Promote company safety initiatives

Schedule Annual Training for all employees regarding HIPAA, Cyber-Security, Anti-harassment, and Hazardous Material

Reviews and updates all HR SOPS annually

Perform other duties as assigned
