Overview

The Technical Design Assistant will report to the Technical Design Manager. This individual will be responsible for supporting the department, cross-functional partners, and factories to reach Technical Design priorities and to carry them through on schedule.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize, and steam samples for fittings
  • Create schedule for fit session prioritized by sample season and status
  • Take clear and concise fit notes
  • Communicate factory call-outs and comments regarding samples at fittings
  • Track fit samples through communication with overseas factories and agents
  • Organize and send samples to appropriate factories for updates and corrections weekly
  • Take on additional ad hoc projects, such as creating a How to Measure Manual


What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or relevant experience is preferred
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
  • Understanding of the function and workings of a Technical Design Department
  • A working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and PLM
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to respond to change positively
  • Capable of understanding how your role impacts and influences the larger business
  • Strong time management skills
