Electrical Lab Engineer / Electrical Integration Technician
Location: Redmond, WA (Primary) with regular support across lab facilities in Redmond and Kirkland, WA
Schedule: Full-time, Onsite

Overview
We are seeking a highly hands-on Electrical Lab Engineer / Electrical Integration Technician to support the buildout, integration, operation, and maintenance of development laboratories supporting advanced satellite and communication systems.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong experience in rack-and-stack deployments, high-voltage electrical systems, RF test equipment, and Linux-based hardware environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining complex lab infrastructure, integrating electrical and RF systems, and ensuring safe, reliable, and organized operation of development and test environments.
The position is based in Redmond, WA and will support engineering labs located in both Redmond and Kirkland. This is a fully onsite role requiring close collaboration with electrical, RF, systems, and test engineers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Rack, stack, wire, and organize electrical, RF, networking, and test equipment within engineering lab environments.
  • Install and integrate development hardware into rack-based test systems.
  • Safely connect, verify, and troubleshoot both low-voltage and high-voltage electrical equipment.
  • Route, label, secure, and manage cabling using industry best practices for maintainability and reliability.
  • Support integration and operation of RF equipment including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, amplifiers, antennas, and test systems.
  • Perform electrical and hardware bring-up activities for prototype and development systems.
  • Support Linux-based test equipment, servers, and engineering workstations used for lab automation and testing.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, power, connectivity, cabling, and integration issues across lab environments.
  • Verify grounding, shielding, insulation, strain relief, and overall system safety.
  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, block diagrams, pinouts, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate concepts and requirements into functional lab setups.
  • Document equipment configurations, wiring layouts, cable maps, and system changes.
  • Maintain lab organization, safety standards, calibration status, and operational readiness.
  • Support multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced development environment.

Required Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with rack-and-stack deployment and integration of hardware systems.
  • Experience working with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems in laboratory, industrial, telecommunications, aerospace, or data center environments.
  • Experience supporting or troubleshooting RF systems and test equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with cable routing, harnessing, labeling, termination, and cable management best practices.
  • Experience using electrical diagnostic tools such as:
    • Multimeters
    • Oscilloscopes
    • Power supplies
    • Network analyzers
    • Cable testers
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, grounding, and power distribution concepts.
  • Ability to work independently in a laboratory environment with minimal supervision.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
