Security Officer- Outdoor Perimeter Guard

Security Officer Summary:
We're seeking motivated individuals who want more than a temporary role, people that are interested in developing a long-term career in the security field. This position begins as a part-time role, with schedules that may vary based on operational needs, and serves as an entry point into our organization. At United Security, strong performance is noticed and rewarded, with opportunities for more consistent scheduling, increased hours, pay advancement, and potential eligibility for full-time positions and benefits. We believe in promoting from within and supporting those who want to grow with us.
Security Officer / Outdoor Perimeter Guard Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide a welcoming environment and provide needed services for guests
  • Patrol guest areas for suspicious activities and unauthorized people
  • Communicate effectively with guests while maintaining excellent hospitality and interpersonal skills
  • Perform a variety of security checks and follow post orders as directed by the establishment
  • Investigate incidents and create reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities
  • Have a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Other responsibilities may apply
Security Officer Requirements:
  • PERC Card required
  • Willingness to submit to a background check
  • Prior Customer Service and Hospitality experience
  • Weekend Availability
  • Well-Groomed appearance
  • Available to work 2nd and/or 3rd shift
  • Ability to stand up and walk for 8 hours
  • Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather when required
Security Officer Preferred Qualifications:
  • Security experience
  • Ex-law enforcement
  • Military service
