What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
