Job description

We are looking for an experienced Sushi Chef to organize and execute sushi preparation activities. You will be second in command, ensuring a high degree of attention to detail and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels for a wide range of raw fish and other ingredients
  • Prepare all types of sushi including nigiri, sashimi, & handrolls
  • Acute attention to detail in the food preparation process, mastering quality control
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers

Qualifications or Requirements

  • 2 years Japanese cuisine experience
  • Ability to listen to and facilitate special requests from our clients
  • Exceptional and proven sushi workspace management ability
  • Strength in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
  • Outstanding communication skills
